Hvitserkur stands at Sunrise

Locals talk about this unique sea stack with many adjectives but my favorite is the description that it resembles an Icelandic Horse taking a drink. Do you see it? My first visit here was on the previous evening, standing on the platform at the top of the cliff looking down on this stack (right above and behind the camera here). I wanted to get down from there but the cliff felt too steep for me to attempt decending so I took a long 45 minute detour to get down to sea level. Since the light wasnt great I decided to try coming back at sunrise ~ 2:30am. As luck would have it, I overslept the alarm and had some great light disappear rapidly, leaving me no time to take the long route - so I did what my rational self wouldnt do - scale down that cliff!! Got down in one piece to take this shot - Kids, I dont recommend it!
