One Step Closer...

I would not recommend getting any closer to this massive waterfall than this! Two things about this image indicate the sheer scale and power of Gullfoss (Golden Falls) - the size of the mist column at any given time and the tiny humans adoring the view from the cliff to the right. Iceland has countless spectacular waterfalls often with the most notable ones having a distinct unmistakable look. Gullfoss seems to be one of the biggest in the country and also attracts the largest crowds due to its close proximity with Reykjavik...kinda like Niagara falls is to Toronto.
