Hallgrimskirkja

This is probably the most imposing man-made structure in Iceland - The Church dominates the Reykjavik cityscape and its hard to express the scale of it in the photo. The design resembles the naturally occurring vertical basalt columns (due to volcanic activity) found in numerous places in the country.
