Lauterbrunnen

The Glacial Valley of Lauterbrunnen is one of most spectacular sights in the country...and that's saying a lot considering it's Switzerland! It's just too bad this picture doesnt do it justice. The imposing mountains, steep cliffs, tumbling waterfalls all make for a fairytale sight - This place was in fact the inspiration for Rivendale, the Elven city in The Lord of the Rings
